Many grand homes and buildings designed by architects have been built here. And we also have a treasure trove of more modest, “vernacular” buildings, that speak to us of specific times in our more recent as well as distant past. We plan to spotlight one of these neighborhoods each quarter, sharing pictures, history and recognition.
